About Game That Song
Every game night ends in the same argument.
Whose song was better. Who actually knows the words. Game That Song makes games for that argument.
Lyric Legend: prove you know every word
Our top seller is finish-the-lyric trivia built on the music you grew up on. Lyric Legend 90's R&B gives you 144 classic hits, four choices on every card, steal cards to keep it messy, and a Spotify playlist so you can play the track and sing it back at the table. Play it hard mode from memory, classic with the four choices, or party mode where you guess the song from the answers alone. There are 90's Hip-Hop and 2000's Hip-Hop editions too, and a 3-game bundle for the crew that wants all of it.
The game that started it all
Before Lyric Legend, there was Game That Song. A communication professor in San Diego kept watching the same thing happen at every party: someone plays a song, someone else says theirs is better, and suddenly the whole room is in it. So he built a game around the argument. Draw a card, everyone plays a song from their own phone, and the judge picks the winner. No trivia, no right answers, just your playlist against theirs. It became our #1 bestseller on Amazon, and it is why our games sound like your crew every time: the game does not bring the music, you do.
Then players kept telling us the same thing. We don't just know the songs, we know every word. Lyric Legend is how you prove it.
Who it's for
A cookout, a girls night, a family reunion, a road trip, a FaceTime call across three time zones. Lyric Legend and Game That Song are rated 14+. For the little ones, Name That Puppy and Name That Kitty are family card games for ages 4 and up, and Start That Convo is a deck of conversation cards for when you want the room talking without a scoreboard.
Who makes this
Game That Song is a small, independent company in San Diego, California, started by a communication professor who spent 22 years studying how people connect in groups and noticed that the fastest way to get a room talking is a song with a story behind it. Ten games and expansions later, the best part is still the moment the arguing starts.
